Our Dedicated CSR team
We recognise the importance that a Corporate Social Responsibility team plays in a company’s long-term success and sustainability.
A dedicated CSR team is essential for us. A specialised team ensures that CSR initiatives are strategically aligned with the company’s goals and values. This alignment maximises the impact of community CSR efforts, reinforcing the company’s brand while addressing key social and environmental issues. CSR is not just about short-term gains; it is about ensuring long-term business sustainability. Our CSR programme aims to address the following areas:
Environmental Awareness
We are committed to making an impact on the environment by implementing the following:
- Recycling bins and use of sustainable products throughout the office
- Reduce paper usage across all departments
- Encouraging clients to use our digital documents signing portal instead of printing documents
Volunteering
Community Litter Pick
Twice a year we organise, with the Town Council, a local Community Litter Pick in and around Gerrards Cross. Staff are on hand to volunteer and help.
Gerrards Cross Community Annual Christmas Event
Staff help out at this local annual event. Attended by over 1000 local residents, we set up a Santa’s Grotto underneath our offices and hand out gifts to children and visitors.

Schools Sponsorship
Every year we support local schools through numerous activities and sponsorship.
School Christmas Card Design Competition
Since 2013 we have been running our annual Christmas card competition with local schools. All students, of all ages, can participate in this. Each year we receive several hundred designs that we need to whittle down to the few winning entries. The winning designs from each school are used for our Christmas cards, which are mostly sent to our clients electronically.

Dr Challoner’s High School Digital Design Challenge
In 2021 we launched our Digital Design Challenge at local secondary school, Dr Challoner’s, for students studying GCSE Graphic Design.
Students are given a ‘creative brief’ to follow. They must create a digital animation for us to use as our digital Christmas card. The team here at Nunn Hayward judge the videos.

St Mary’s Mathematics Award Programme
In 2014 we set up a mathematics award with St Mary’s Junior School. At the end of each term we present the students with their achievement certificates and badges for their efforts in maths for that term.
Sports Sponsorship
Sponsoring local amateur golfer
We sponsor a talented your golfer, supporting her through her tournaments and her golfing journey.
SportsAid Bucks Lunch club
Sponsored by us and other local businesses, the SportsAid Club was set up to help young local athletes achieve their sporting dreams. We are delighted to be involved in such a motivation programme for these young aspiring sporting stars in the making.

We proudly sponsor a wide range of local events in the area. Our involvement in these events is important to us, as it allows us to actively engage with and contribute to the local community. Some of the events we sponsor include:

Charitable Giving
We are delighted that as a firm we support, raise awareness and give donations to many charities and worthwhile causes throughout the year.
The charity we are supporting this year is Teddy’s Wish.
It is a pleasure for us to support this amazing charity. Teddy's wish is a local charity in Beaconsfield who fund research into the causes of baby loss.

Donations
Every quarter staff kindly donate food and supplies to worthy causes. This includes food banks, animal charities and children’s charities. This year we were delighted to donate over 100 Easter eggs to a local children charity ‘Give and Share’.
National charities
There are a number of national charities that we support each year.
Macmillan Coffee Morning and Breast Cancer Afternoon Tea
Every year we support these great charities by hosting a coffee morning/afternoon tea where staff can bring in cakes/treats they have made, raising money for these fantastic charities.
Save the Children
We put on our best Christmas jumpers to raise funds for this great charity.
